Charlie and the Chocolate Factory – SEB LU edition

As part of the Incom Leone: Expanding Business Models project, conducted within the Work-Based Problem Learning (PUŠ) 2024–2027 initiative, students of the School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana — Eldina Agovič, Tinkara Balantič, Špela Geršak, Irma Hairlahović, Nejc Pavliha, Nina Štibelj, and Nikita Stergar — explored the challenges of employee well-being and business model development in collaboration with the company Leone.

The project was carried out under the academic mentorship of Maša Košak, a valued member of our HDW Network, and supported by Anisa Faganelj, Head of Human Resources at Leone.

At the final event, the students presented their findings and recommendations to the company’s management. Their work went far beyond an academic exercise — the proposed solutions were immediately applicable in practice, focusing on enhancing employee well-being, ensuring psychological safety, and developing sustainable business models that create long-term value.

This collaboration exemplifies how linking universities with real-world business challenges can generate innovative, practical, and human-centered solutions that benefit both organizations and society as a whole.
