We are honored and happy to have our crew members among the signees of this year’s World Sleep Day public statement emphasizing the importance of sleep for health, energy and well-being. This year’s motto: Sleep is essential for health!
Since we sleep and #work for about two thirds of our lives, this is also a nice recognition of our research project (well, platform, program, journey) studying the intersection of these two areas. Including but not limited to our core research project (a collaboration among University of Ljubljana, School of Economics and Business, Inštitut za ekonomska raziskovanja – Institute for Economic Research and University Medical Centre Ljubljana) funded by Javna agencija za raziskovalno dejavnost Republike Slovenije “The limits of agile work: Exploring the effects of agility on sleep and innovativeness”.
A wonderful motivation for our core and extended research team to work further on exploring sleep in different work settings (knowledge work, healthcare, sports, entrepreneurship etc.) and thereby – hopefully – helping individuals and the society to sleep and function better!
